Body - Burberry's New Fragrance

 

The stunning model and actress has been teasing us in her print ads for the brand new fragrance, Burberry BODY, but now we get to watch her in this full-length commercial!  The 24-year-old is the face - and more importantly body - of Burberry's new fragrance.

''It's a huge honour to be working with Burberry again, a brand that put my career on the map and helped launch me. To be asked to be the first 'Burberry Body' is an amazing compliment" said Rosie.

 

I heart Burberry

A shining, silver paillette-encrusted trenchcoat sparkling on the runway as metallic confetti rained down: This is the memory London fashion week will have of its 25th anniversary—and the Burberry show that ended it. There was more young glamour per foot here than the city's ever witnessed in a front row. Emma Watson was present, and so were Gwyneth Paltrow, Mary-Kate Olsen, Victoria Beckham, and Daisy Lowe; Freida Pinto and Dev Patel were holding hands. And every piece Christopher Bailey showed could have been worn by any one of them: The message was Burberry gone short, draped, deluxe, and glamorous, and aimed at the very young.

And I just love it!!! Starting with the trench coat, trademark Burberry, and ending with the lovely details on dresses, bags and shoes. Absolutely wonderful! So fresh, young and glamorous.

Burberry Prorsum - There were the signature trenches done up this time in metallic leather velvet; the floor-scraping flares and narrow jackets with new, slightly puffed sleeves.

 

 

 

The Yves Saint Laurent pre-fall collection was an extension of the austere, mostly monochrome experiments in volume Stefano Pilati has been working on since last Fall. That was quite apparent in the rounded shapes, double-faced fabrics, and shades of gray and black.
